Love notes from Scotland yard

A Writer’s Workshop publication, the book was released on Thursday at Landmark by Joy Goswami. The collection promises to stand out in the galaxy of modern poetry. As Goswami said, “Despite all the love from Edinburgh, the poems are characteristically Indian.”

dr bashabi fraser's latest collection of poems is titled with best wishes from edinburgh. a writer's workshop publication, the book was released on thursday at landmark by joy goswami. the collection promises to stand out in the galaxy of modern poetry. as goswami said, despite all the love from edinburgh, the poems are characteristically indian. dr fraser was the resident poet in scotland where she was attached with british telecom future talk education programme for communication with british school. she had recently completed the book of correspondence between rabindranath tagore and patrick geddes, well known architect and environmentalist of scotland. the release was followed by dr fraser's reading from her own book of poems. the poems a tryst with time and to ma and baba demand special mention for their haunting imageries. this was followed by sharmila roy and biswajit chattopadhyay reciting their own poems.
